| Early Monday Morning November 3, 2008, around 1:23am, Glen Cove Fire Dispatch signed on the air with a General Alarm possible house fire at Smith Street, Chief 5201 was first on the scene and transmitted a Signal 10 working house fire. The fire was knocked down fairly quickly and confirmed under control about 35 mins later. Glen Cove Vol. Fire Department Chiefs 5200, 5201, 5202, 5203 were all on scene. The Sea Cliff Fire Dept was notified for a Fast Team and the Locust Valley Fire Dept was notified to take in an automatic alarm at the Webb institute and then to cover the house for any other alarms. Glen Cove EMS was also notified to respond to the scene for rehab. |
