| Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department Hosts Fire Prevention Open House written by RL, 10.24.2009 |
On Sunday, October 25, the Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual Fire Prevention Open House from 12 Noon until 3pm. Residents young and old can visit the fire house for a fun filled day of fire prevention. There will be many demonstrations, including rope rescue, car fire, auto extrication, kitchen stove / oven fire, fire truck rides, fire hose handling. The Glen Cove Harbor Patrol, Glen Cove CERT Team and Glen Cove EMS will also be there. Come one come all and enjoy the day at the Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department. Article by RL©2009.
