| A dedicated group of Glen Cove students, members of the Glen Cove Fire Department's Explorer Post 520, held an "All you can eat" corn beef and cabbage dinner at the Glen Cove Firehouse, on Saturday March 13, 2010 from 4pm to 8pm. By supporting our Explorers, funds raised goes towards their continued pre-training and education in the fire service --- many of whom go onto becoming volunteer fire fighters for the City of Glen Cove! In a time of economic hardship, waning community service and togetherness, THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO CAME OUT TO SUPPORT THE EXPLORERS!!! |
