| GCVFD RESPONDS TO SIGNAL 8 BRUSH FIRE AT THE GLEN COVE HIGH SCHOOL written by SJB, 03.24.2008 |
| On the night of Monday March, 24, 2008, Glen Cove Fire Dispatch toned out for a Signal 8 brush fire in Glen Cove High School on Dosoris Lane. Chiefs 5200, 5201 and 5202 responded along with 1st due Engine 525 and 2nd due Engine 524. The brush fire was put out with the two crews very swiftly.
